During the month of September the American Cancer Society (ACS), and other leading women’s health organizations, spread awareness of Ovarian Cancer. Dubbed the “silent killer” because it’s considered the deadliest of all gynecological cancers, ACS statistics show that ovarian cancer will claim the lives of more than 14,000 U.S. women in 2016–broken down that’s roughly 273 women per week, 39 per day, and a shocking 2 women per hour.
